New Year!

Happy New Year everyone!!! Did everyone catch the fireworks at Sydney Harbour? Talk about starting off with a bang!


Lets hope 2009 is a bigger and better year for everyone!

In other news, I am having huge trouble with making youtube videos. You see, I'm trying to make a video which shows clippets of a movie (On a clear day you can see forever) and then having the movie audio muted and a song in the background. Now, I have figured out how to do it, but because my computer hasn't got much space left, I can't rip the movie to a VOB file then to an avi. file because my space runs out! Oivey, if that isn't enough, I converted 15 minutes of the movie and it screws up when I'm playing it in moviemaker because the computer slows down!!!
To much trouble.

Boring Day

Hello again, another boring holiday day. Well it's New Years Eve, which is kind of exciting. I just wish someone would be able to share the excitement with me. Well enough of feeling sorry for myself.

------ I really feel like singing. To let all my energy out. But, I really don't want to annoy anyone, so I usually wait to sing after my parents have gone out so I can just sing and sing and sing. Yep, thats what I do when no ones home. I sing.


I vow that when school starts again I will not annoy people.

Like thats ever gonna happen!!!





I like blogs. Its very....peaceful. More people should blog.

Currently obsessed with the song 'Chasing Pavements'. I found it whilst watching youtube and this person who has clips of movies playing and songs in the background. The maker of this video primarily makes Barbra Streisand vids. So that song was playing in the background. I love it. Its sad and with the visual, it works.

In other news, I just finished this book called 'The earth, my butt and other big round things'. It was good. Now I'm reading 'The host'. You know, since recently, I hate speaking about myself to people. I figure it rude, and I'm finding so much about other people.


My blog may not be interesting, but I enjoy it. So deal with it.

Yes, my blogs name is a movie

Welcome everybody. Yes, both of you. Let me get this straight, I know my blog's name is from a movie, but I love the movie, its a kooky name and I looked up and it was there, above the computer so I went 'What the hey, I'll name it Up the Sandbox' and I did. I'm not sure what 'Up the Sandbox' means, and I really can't be bothered to find it out.

In other news, I've finally started a blog up. It was a holiday activity thing I wanted to do, and I'm doing it and hopefully keeping it up. It shall consist of my ravings, what fashion I'm interested in and random quotes and facts about things.

I hope you enjoy my blogs. I could never keep up a diary, so maybe a blog is the best way to go.
